UAE 2117 MARS EXPEDITION
UAE 2117 MARS EXPEDITION
The UAE 2217 Mars Project is a very ambitious venture with the objective of establishing human settlements on the planet Mars by the year 2217. Led by the United Arab Emirates, this innovative initiative aims to expand the limits of space research and provide a foundation for the settlement of an additional astronomical entity. The UAE 2217 Mars Project strives to overcome the obstacles related to extended periods of deep space flight, planetary descent, and the establishment of a sustainable living environment by capitalizing on technological developments, technical expertise, and humanity's resilience. Through collaborative attempts involving international space agencies, scientists, engineers, and astronauts, this remarkable undertaking imagines a possible reality wherein human beings may thrive and extend their presence beyond the limits of Earth. This ambitious project aims to achieve substantial progress in interplanetary exploration, ultimately leading to the enhancement of our comprehension of the universe as a whole.
Mission, vision and objectives
Mission
To train teams of space scientists and engineers who will allow the United Arab Emirates to make a contribution to the advancement of space travel and planetary settlement capabilities, in particular the founding of a human colony on Mars.
Vision
Mars 2117 will collaborate with worldwide partners to build the scientific and creative technology skills required to establish a human colony on Mars that is capable of surviving for an extended period of time.
Objectives
While at the same time using scientific research to solve the difficulties of food, water, and energy security on Earth, the United Arab Emirates is making contributions to the creation of life support systems and solutions for human settlements on other planets.

Planetary Insurance
The United Arab Emirates has been striving to reduce its economy's reliance on oil and hydrocarbons. Investing in sectors of advanced technology, such as space exploration, can stimulate economic growth and generate high tech employment opportunities.
The Mars mission of the United Arab Emirates encourages international cooperation, promoting partnerships with popular space agencies and organisations. This can facilitate the sharing of knowledge, technology, and resources.
The goal of the initiative is to excite and engage the younger generation in the STEM fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. It offers an inspiring vision that encourages youths to pursue professions in these fields.
Missions to Mars require significant technological advances and innovation in a variety of fields, including spacecraft design and life support systems. Beyond space exploration, the United Arab Emirates seeks to cultivate an innovative culture and develop advanced technologies that can benefit multiple industries.
Considering climate change and probable catastrophic occurrences on Earth, settling on Mars might be considered as planetary insurance to assure humanity's existence.
Remember that the UAE's Mars goals are part of a larger future goal in mind. The Mars 2117 Project supports the UAE's aims of innovation, based on knowledge the economy, and scientific and technical growth.
